Wedding Photography is an art. It is beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable. Each wedding photographer has a voice through the camera. This voice can be funny, sentimental, deeply emotional, and incredibly artistic.

This month, I chose some of the top photographers in the wedding industry and asked them to submit a wedding photograph that they cherish. As you will see, each photo is a great example of what the photographer sees and maybe even a sneak peek into each of their individual personalities.

They say that no wedding is ever the same and neither are the photographers documenting them. -- Arina Lanis

Joel Marion Photo

"This photograph of a bride kissing her father is one of my favorite photographs because it tells such a great story and captures a very special moment between a father and daughter. I enjoy capturing these spontaneous moments on a wedding day."

Keiser Photography

"This is one of my favorites because it's the type of image that tells so much of the story in one shot. The bride and groom had just been announced as they entered the reception hall. Every one cheered and applauded while the couple made their way to the head table. The bride and groom are obviously thrilled and excited as they quickly glance toward each other. I was in the right place to capture this moment as they walked past the groom's mother."

Susan Jackson Photography

"This is one of my favorite photographs because it is my sister. I have favorite photographs that come and go all the time. However, a classic favorite is one I could hang on my wall for the next 50 years and not get tired of it. I could do that with this one. One of my most favorite photography processes is the Polaroid Transfer Process and this photograph is also a Polaroid Transfer."

Signature Studio

"I asked the Jr. Groomsmen to give the bride a kiss on the cheek, she turned so he could do so but instead he slowly turned his head toward me and said, 'No way!' I was able to capture the expression of both the Jr. Groomsmen and the bride's reaction."

Tina Halturin Photography

"I would have to say that thus far, this is my favorite due to the powerfully interactive nature of the scene. I love the look of rapture on the bride's face and the accordingly reactive smiles and excitement by the family and friends that surround them. Moments like this one are what I strive to capture at a wedding: the tell-all photo of the emotion and joy of a couple's wedding day."

Nordmann Photography

"This photo of Mark and Dorrie Krueger is one of my favorites. The wedding was last December 23 and was a very emotional day for both of them. Dorrie and Mark met while she was undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. Dorrie survived the life-threatening illness. During their first dance, the emotion shown on Mark's face was so powerful, that tears came to my eyes while photographing."
